The day after attending a beautiful wedding in Charlotte, NC, Eric, Leo, and I headed a couple of hours west, to visit some dear friends we knew from our life in Uganda who are now living in Boone, NC. We had time to explore the countryside just a bit and go on a short hike with an unbeatable vista. I'm always trying to convince Eric to envision a life in the mountains somewhere and I think this short visit might helped my case.
