From the garden: caprese bites

There is little else so satisfying as looking at a plate of food entirely made and grown by yourself.  Now, I'm just getting started on gardening and homesteading, so tonight it was fun to make these simple caprese bites as an easy appetizer from what I had available in the garden!  The cherry tomatoes are fresh out of the garden, the basil was clipped from my herb garden, and I made the mozzarella cheese a few days ago from fresh, locally-produced milk, bought at the dukka around the corner.  With a sprinkle of balsamic vinaigrette, this homemade, home-grown appetizer disappeared quickly!
